D-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT i-stop)].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

1. Remove the following parts:

(1) Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2) Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3) Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4) Trunk side trim (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2. Take the shaded area shown in the figure, and remove the D-pillar trim in the direction of the arrow in the order of (1), (2), (3) while detaching clips A, pins B.

3. Pull the D-pillar trim in the direction of the arrow (4) and remove the D-pillar trim while detaching the guide C.

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
