CONSOLE SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Console Side Panel No.1

1.  Move console side panel No.1 in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the clips and hooks from the front console.

2.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Console Side Panel No.2

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT i-stop)].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Selector lever knob (ATX) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Shift lever knob (MTX) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R, C66MX-R].) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [D66M-R, D66MX-R].)

(4)  Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Console side panel No.1 (See Console Side Panel No.1.)

3.  Move console side panel No.2 in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the clips and the hook from the front console.

4.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
