Purpose

•  The telematics communication unit the telematics communication system based on a collision detection signal from the SAS control module.

Functions


Telematics communication system operation status notification function

•  The telematics communication unit notifies the user of the Telematics communication system operation status using a notification sound.
•  The notification sound is activated in the pattern shown in the following figure.

On-board diagnostic function

•  The telematics communication unit is equipped with an on-board diagnosis function which records DTCs in the event of a malfunction.
