CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the console panel. (See CONSOLE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Pull the brake boot upward and detach clip A and tabs B,C.

4.  Disconnect the seat warmer switch connectors. (vehicles with seat warmer system)

5.  Remove the shift lever knob. (See SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [A26MX-R])

6.  Pull the panel upward and detach clips A, B and tabs C.

7.  Disconnect the accessory socket connector.

8.  Remove the covers.

9.  Remove the fasteners and screws.

10.  Remove the pins A.

11.  Remove the console.

12.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

ATX

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the console panel. (See CONSOLE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Pull the panel upward and detach clips A, B and tabs C.

4.  Disconnect the seat warmer switch connectors. (vehicles with seat warmer system)

5.  Disconnect the accessory socket connector.

6.  Remove the covers.

7.  Remove the fasteners and screws.

8.  Remove the pins A.

9.  Remove the console.

10.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
