1. Remove the following parts. (See FLOOR UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
2. Remove the fasteners in the order shown in the figure.

3. Remove the insulator.
4. Remove the following parts.

5. For SKYACTIV-G 2.5 vehicles, perform the following procedure.

6. For SKYACTIV-D 2.2 vehicles, perform the following procedure.

7. Remove in the order shown in the figure.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
9. Perform a road test and inspect for abnormal noise and vibration.

Propeller Shaft Removal Note
1. Place alignment marks on the front-side companion flange and constant velocity joint, and the rear-side coupling component and rear yoke before removing the nuts.

2. Loosen the nuts (front, rear, and center bearing support).
3. Remove the front and rear nuts.
4. Contract the propeller shaft and remove it from the rear side.
5. Remove the center bearing nuts and then remove the propeller shaft.
Propeller Shaft Installation Note

1. Clean off any oil on the tightening area.
2. Align the alignment marks and temporarily tighten the nuts (front, rear, and center bearing support).

3. Tighten the bolts on the front side to the specified torque first and then tighten the bolts on the rear side to the specified torque.
