FRONT ABS WHEEL-SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2. Remove the wheel and tire. (See WHEEL AND TIRE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.))

3. Remove in the order shown in the figure.

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

5. After installation, verify that the front ABS wheel-speed sensor wiring harness is not twisted.

Connector Disconnection Note

1. Remove the fasteners shown in the figure.

2. Partially peel back the front mudguard and disconnect the connector.

• Refer to this note only if the disconnection of the front ABS wheel-speed sensor wiring harness and the clip shown in the figure is required.

1. Insert a flathead screwdriver from the side where there is no notch as shown in the figure.

2. Detach the tab as shown in the figure and disconnect the ABS wheel-speed sensor wiring harness and clip.
