Replacement part

1.  Remove the transaxle. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [GW6A-EL].) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [GW6AX-EL].)

2.  Remove in the order shown in the figure.

1	Drive plate installation bolt (See Drive Plate Installation Bolt Removal Note.) (See Drive Plate Installation Bolt Installation Note.)
2	Backing plate
3	Drive plate

3.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

1.  Set the SST to the engine.

2.  Remove the drive plate installation bolts uniformly in the order of the numbers shown in the figure.

1.  Set the SST to the engine.

2.  Tighten the drive plate installation bolts evenly in two or three passes in the order of the numbers shown in the figure.
