Replacement part

1.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear fog light (With rear fog light) (See REAR FOG LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Rear ultrasonic sensor short-cord (With rear ultrasonic sensor) (See REAR ULTRASONIC SENSOR SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Rear ultrasonic sensor (With rear ultrasonic sensor) (See REAR ULTRASONIC SENSOR SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Disassemble in the order shown in the figure.

1	Rear reflector (Without rear fog light)
2	Rear bumper guard (See Rivet Removal Note.)
3	Rear towing hook cover
4	Protector
5	Rear bumper face

3.  Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

Rivet Removal Note

1.  When removing the rivet, perform the following procedure:

(1)  Secure the rivet pin from the rear bumper guard side using needle-nose pliers.

(2)  Use the following drill diameter.

Drill diameter:

4.9 mm {0.19 in}

Caution

•  If an inappropriate drill diameter is used, the rear bumper face may be damaged.

(3)  Remove the rivet flange using a drill and remove the rivet.

(4)  Remove any rivet shavings from the rear bumper face and rear bumper guard.
