Note

• The power liftgate (PLG) front switch is integrated with the cluster switch.

• To replace the power liftgate (PLG) front switch, replace the cluster switch. (See CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

14 Pin Type

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2. Remove the driver-side front scuff plate. (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3. Remove the driver-side front side trim. (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4. Remove the cluster switch. (See CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5. Verify that the continuity between the power liftgate (PLG) front switch terminals is as indicated in the table.

• If not as indicated in the table, replace the cluster switch. (See CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
