Installation Procedure

1.  Before installing the new part, drill holes for plug welding in the 11 locations in area B, 17 locations in area C, 33 locations in area D, and 97 locations in area F.

2.  When installing the new part, measure the dimensions of each part following the body dimensions and align with the basic dimension.

3.  After temporarily installing the new part, make sure the related parts fit properly.

4.  Insert the upper end part of the center pillar inner between the roof rail inner and the roof rail reinforcement in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.

5.  Plug welds in the 9 locations in area A shown in the figure.

6.  Plug welds in the 11 locations in area B shown in the figure and install the center pillar (inner).

7.  Install the side sill reinforcement (front). (See SIDE SILL PANEL INSTALLATION [PANEL REPLACEMENT].)

8.  Plug welds in the 17 locations in area C shown in the figure and install a center pillar reinforcement (inner) (new) to a center pillar reinforcement (new).

9.  Plug welds in the 33 locations in area D shown in the figure and install the center pillar reinforcement.

10.  Cut and join the part to the 3 locations in area E shown in the figure.

11.  Plug welds in the 95 locations in area F shown in the figure and install the cab side frame outer (center pillar outer).
