WIRELESS CHARGER (Qi) DISABLING PROCEDURE

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the console side panel (rear console). (See CONSOLE SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the selector lever knob. (See SELECTOR LEVER COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the shift panel. (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Remove the wireless charger (Qi). (SeeWIRELESS CHARGER (Qi) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

6.  Wrap the cushion tape around the connector.

Note

•  To prevent noise due to interference between the disconnected connector and the interior of the vehicle, wrap a cushion tape (length: 75 mm {2.9 in} x width: 35 mm {1.4 in}x thickness: 5 mm {0.2 in}) around the connector.

7.  Secure the wiring harness with the band at the position shown in the figure.

8.  Install the wireless charger (Qi). (See WIRELESS CHARGER (Qi) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

9.  Install the shift panel. (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

10.  Install the selector lever knob. (See SELECTOR LEVER COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

11.  Install the console side panel (rear console). (See CONSOLE SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

12.   Connect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
