LDWS WARNING INDICATION

Purpose
• The LDWS warning indication warns the driver that a malfunction is occurring in the lane departure warning system (LDWS).
Functions
• The instrument cluster displays the LDWS warning indication based on the system malfunction display request signal sent from the forward sensing camera (FSC) via CAN communication.
Structure/Construction
• The LDWS warning indication is displayed in the multi-information display.
• A warning message is displayed in the center display simultaneously with the LDWS warning indication. For the message content and verification method, refer to the [CENTER DISPLAY]. (See

Operation
1. If there is a malfunction in the lane departure warning system (LDWS), the forward sensing camera (FSC) sends (1) a system malfunction display request signal to the instrument cluster via CAN communication.
2. The instrument cluster displays (2) an LDWS warning indication in the multi-information display based on the system malfunction display request signal.
