DETECTION CONDITION
|
• Each module within the vehicle system monitors input voltage to the module. If the voltage drops below the modules calibrated set point (which varies between modules), that module will set this DTC.
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
• Circuit high resistance
• Engine, generator and battery grounds
• Generator clutch malfunction
• Dead battery
• High ignition off current drain
• PCM malfunction

• Verify related Service Information availability.
• Is any related Service Information available?

Yes

Perform repair or diagnosis according to the available Service Information.
• If the vehicle is not repaired, go to the next step.

Go to the next step.

INSPECT THE CHARGING SYSTEM
• Inspect the charging system.
• Is there any malfunction?
|
Yes
|
Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the inspection results, then go to the next step.

No
|
Go to the next step.

|
VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF DTC P0562:00 HAS BEEN COMPLETED
• Verify that all disconnected connectors reconnected.
• Clear the DTC from the PCM memory using the M-MDS.
• Start the engine and run it at idle.
• Perform the KOEO or KOER self-test.
• Is the same DTC present?

Yes

Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
• If the malfunction recurs, replace the PCM.
Go to the next step.

VERIFY AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE
• Perform the “AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE”.
• Are any DTCs present?

Yes

Go to the applicable DTC inspection.
