•  Inspect for continuity between the following terminals:
―  BCM terminal 1E—front door lock-link switch (passenger-side) terminal 2F (wiring harness-side)
―  BCM terminal 6U—rear door lock-link switch (LH) terminal 2F (wiring harness-side)
―  BCM terminal 6W—rear door lock-link switch (RH) terminal 2A (wiring harness-side)
•  Is there continuity?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the wiring harness for a possible open, then go to Step 6.
4
INSPECT FRONT DOOR LOCK-LINK SWITCH (PASSEGER-SIDE) AND REAR DOOR LOCK-LINK SWITCH GND CIRCUIT FOR OPEN
•  Inspect for continuity between the following terminals:
―  Front door lock-link switch (passenger-side) terminal 2B (wiring harness-side)—body ground
―  Rear door lock-link switch (LH) terminal 2B (wiring harness-side)—body ground
―  Rear door lock-link switch (RH) terminal 2E (wiring harness-side)—body ground
•  Is there continuity?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the wiring harness for a possible open, then go to Step 6.
5
INSPECT DOOR LOCK-LINK SWITCH
•  Inspect the front door lock-link switch (passenger-side) and rear door lock-link switch.
•  Is there any malfunction?
Yes
Replace the front door latch and lock actuator (passenger-side) or rear door latch and lock actuator, then go to the next step.
