LIGHTING SYSTEM PERSONALIZATION FEATURES SETTING PROCEDURE

Auto Light System

1.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.  After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initialization screen of the M-MDS.

1.  Select “Module Programming”.

3.  Then, select items from the screen menu in the following order.

1.  Select “Programmable Parameters”.
2.  Select “Exterior Lighting”.
3.  Select “Autolamp On Setting”.

4.  Select “Standard (All Other)” or “Low (All Other)” on the M-MDS to set the illumination level.

Note
•  When the M-MDS is set to Low (All Other), the auto-light sensor sensitivity decreases, and the TNS and headlight illumination timing is slower.

5.  Perform the procedure as indicated on the screen.

6.  Perform the auto light/wiper control module configuration. (See AUTO LIGHT/WIPER CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION.)

Caution
•  Perform the auto light/wiper control module configuration after updating the auto light illumination level to assure that the auto light/wiper system operates correctly.


High Beam Control System

•  The high beam control system can be ON or OFF using the M-MDS. Refer to the control system personalization features setting. (See INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO. PERSONALIZATION FEATURES SETTING PROCEDURE.)
