Replacement Part

Note

•  If the front ABS wheel-speed sensor wiring harness clips are removed from the vehicle body, they cannot be reused. Only remove the wiring harness clips when it is necessary to remove the front ABS wheel-speed sensor wiring harness.

1.  Disconnect the lead-acid battery negative terminal. (See LEAD-ACID BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Remove the wheel and tire. (See WHEEL AND TIRE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

4.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

5.  After installation, verify that there is no twisting in the front ABS wheel-speed sensor.

Connector Disconnection Note

1.  Peel back the front mudguard and disconnect the connector. (See MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

•  Refer to this note only if the disconnection of the front ABS wheel-speed sensor wiring harness and the clip shown in the figure is required.

1.  Remove the front ABS wheel-speed sensor wiring harness and clip as shown in the figure.
