AUTO-DIMMING REARVIEW MIRROR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the sensor cover. (See SENSOR COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect the auto-dimming rearview mirror connector.

4.  Remove the wiring harness clips.

Caution

•  When detaching the auto-dimming rearview mirror from the mirror base, the auto-dimming rearview mirror could fall off and be damaged. When removing the auto-dimming rearview mirror, perform the work while holding the mirror by hand.

5.  Move the auto-dimming rearview mirror in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the auto-dimming rearview mirror from the mirror base.

6.  Remove the auto-dimming rearview mirror. (See Auto-Dimming Rearview Mirror Installation Note.)

7.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Auto-Dimming Rearview Mirror Installation Note

1.  Align the projection on the auto-dimming rearview mirror with the notch on the mirror base.
