Caution

•  When removing the front beltline molding from the front door outer panel, the front door outer panel and the remover tool may interfere with each other and damage the front door outer panel. When removing the front beltline molding, apply protective tape to the front door outer panel before performing the work.

1.  Fully open the front door glass.

2.  Remove the sail garnish. (See SAIL GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Insert the remover tool into the position shown in the figure, move it in the direction of arrow (1), and detach the clip.

4.  Pull the front beltline molding up in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure.

5.  Insert the remover tool into the position shown in the figure, move it in the direction of arrow (1), and detach the clip.

6.  Pull the front beltline molding up in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure.

7.  Rotate the front beltline molding in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove it while detaching the tabs.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
