TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the trunk covering. (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the rear trunk board. (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Partially peel back the weatherstrip.

5.  Hold the shaded areas shown in the figure and move the trunk end trim in the direction of the arrow to remove it while detaching the clips, pins, guides, and tabs.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
