TRUNK SIDE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Replacement parts

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the rear package tray. (See REAR PACKAGE TRAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Partially peel back the weatherstrip.

4.  Move the trunk side upper trim in the order of arrows (1), (2), and (3) shown in the figure and remove it while detaching the clip and hooks.

5.  Disconnect the cargo compartment light connector. (left side only)

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Note

•  When replacing the trunk side upper trim, remove the cargo compartment light. (only on left) (See CARGO COMPARTMENT LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
