FRONT TURN LIGHT/PARKING LIGHT INSPECTION

Front Turn Light Inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the front turn light/parking light. (See FRONT TURN LIGHT/PARKING LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Apply lead-acid battery positive voltage to front turn light terminal B, E, F, G, and connect terminal C to ground.

4.  Verify that the LED illuminates.

•  If the LED does not turn on, replace the front turn light/parking light. (See FRONT TURN LIGHT/PARKING LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

Parking Light Inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the front turn light/parking light. (See FRONT TURN LIGHT/PARKING LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Apply lead-acid battery positive voltage to parking light terminal A, E, G, and connect terminal C to ground.

4.  Verify that the LED illuminates.

•  If the LED does not turn on, replace the front turn light/parking light. (See FRONT TURN LIGHT/PARKING LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
