LIFTGATE LIGHT INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the liftgate light from the liftgate. (See LIFTGATE LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Apply lead-acid battery positive voltage and connect the ground to the liftgate light terminals as indicated in the table below and verify that each light turns on normally.

•  If each light does not turn on, replace the liftgate light. (See LIFTGATE LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
