HIGH-MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the high-mount brake light. (See HIGH-MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Apply lead-acid battery positive voltage to high-mount brake light terminal B, and connect the ground to terminal A.

4.  Verify that the high-mount brake light turns on.

•  If the high-mount brake light does not turn on, replace the high-mount brake light. (See HIGH-MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
