REAR MOUNT CAMERA INSPECTION

Note
•  The integrity of the rear mount camera cannot be determined from a single part. When inspecting the rear mount camera, perform the following procedure.

Without Parking Assist System and 360° View Monitor System

1.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.  Perform the DTC inspection for the connectivity master unit (CMU) and verify if any DTCs related to the rear mount camera are detected. (See DTC INSPECTION.)

•  If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (Refer to the [DTC TABLE [CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT]] in the workshop manual)


With Parking Assist System

1.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.  Perform the DTC inspection for the parking assist unit (optical) and verify if any DTCs related to the rear mount camera is detected. (See DTC INSPECTION.)

•  If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.(See DTC TABLE [PARKING ASSIST UNIT (OPTICAL) (E)].)


With 360° View Monitor System

1.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.  Perform the DTC inspection for the 360° view monitor control module and verify if any DTCs related to the rear mount camera is detected. (See DTC INSPECTION.)

•  If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.(See DTC TABLE [360°VIEW MONITOR CONTROL MODULE (E)].)
