AC POWER OUTLET INSPECTION [(E)]

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the AC power outlet.(See AC POWER OUTLET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Connect the tester as shown in the figure and verify that there is continuity.

•  If the continuity is not as indicated in the table, replace the AC power outlet.(See AC POWER OUTLET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
