• The integrity of the TEL antenna cannot be determined from a single part. When inspecting the TEL antenna, perform the following procedure.
1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
2. Perform a DTC inspection for the emergency call unit and connectivity master unit (CMU), and verify if a TEL antenna related DTC is detected. (See DTC INSPECTION.)
• If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [EMERGENCY CALL UNIT (E)].) (Refer to the [DTC TABLE [CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT]] in the workshop manual)
