Note

•  Because the PCM uses a waterproof connector, the inspection for the voltage/wave pattern cannot be performed. Perform troubleshooting for DTC output by the PCM. (See DTC INSPECTION.)

DTC Inspection

1.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.  Perform the PCM DTC inspection using the M-MDS, and if a PCM related DTC is output, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
