CHARGE PORT ILLUMINATION INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Disconnect the charge port-electrical supply unit connector.

3.  Connect the lead-acid battery voltage to charge port-electrical supply unit (wiring harness-side) 2D, and the ground to terminal 2F.

4.  Verify that the charging port illumination turns on.

•  If the charging port illumination does not turn on, replace the charge lid box assembly. (See CHARGE LID BOX ASSEMBLY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
