Selector lever control module

Detection condition
•  Under the following conditions, the shift-lock solenoid No. 1 is detected to be stuck off due to the sensor value of the shift-lock position sensor and the control target of the shift-lock solenoid not matching.
―  If all of the following conditions continue for 10 s
•  Ignition is switched ON (engine on)
•  Selector lever is in position other than P position
•  Shift solenoid is stuck while it remains released
Fail-safe
Refer to the DTC table and fail-safe table according to the DTC. (See DTC TABLE [SELECTOR LEVER].)
Vehicle status when DTCs are output
•  Shift lock function of selector lever cannot be controlled

INSPECT SELECTOR LEVER FOR MALFUNCTION DEPENDING ON REPEATABILITY
•  Clear the DTC recorded in the memory.
•  Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and continue the following condition for 10 s.
―  Shift selector lever from P position to position other than P without depressing brake pedal.
•  Perform the DTC inspection for the selector lever.
•  Is the same Pending DTC present?
Yes
Refer to the CAN (controller area network) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.
If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1.
•  If the malfunction is not resolved, replace the selector lever, then go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.
Repair completion verification
VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs ARE DISPLAYED
•  Perform the DTC inspection.
•  Is a DTC displayed?
Yes
Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
