•  The ventilation system adjusts the air vent mode by changing the position of the mode door.

Operation

Air mix door

1.  The air mix actuator operates according to the airflow temperature control of the climate control unit.

2.  The air mix door moves in the COLD or HOT direction according to the operation of the air mix actuator.

3.  The airflow volume blowing from the evaporator to the heater core changes by the movement of the air mix door, and the temperature of the air which passes is adjusted.

Dual mode (full-auto air conditioner)

1.  When the DUAL mode is ON, the driver and passenger-side air mix actuators operate independently according to the temperature control dial operation or the automatic control of the climate control unit.

2.  The driver and passenger-side air mix doors move independently according to the air mix actuator operation.

Airflow mode door

1.  The airflow mode actuator operates according to the airflow mode control of the climate control unit.

2.  The mode main link operates according to the mode actuator operation.

3.  The airflow mode door moves in the VENT, BI-LEVEL, HEAT, DEF/HEAT, or DEFROSTER direction according to the airflow mode main link. The air vent changes by the movement of the airflow mode door.

•  The airflow distributed by the mode door passes through the duct and flows from each air vent shown in the figure to the cabin.
