POWER SEAT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Warning

•  Handling a seat equipped with a side air bag improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read the service warnings/cautions in the Workshop Manual before handling a front seat equipped with a side air bag. (See AIR BAG SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM].) 1.  Switch the ignition off.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3.  Remove the front seat side cover. (See FRONT SEAT SIDE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the screws.

5.  Remove the power seat switch No.1 and No.2.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
