POWER SEAT SWITCH INSPECTION

Warning

•  Handling a front seat equipped with a side air bag improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read the service warnings/cautions in the Workshop Manual before handling the front seat (side air bag integrated). (See AIR BAG SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM].) 1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the power seat switch. (See FRONT SEAT SIDE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Verify that the continuity between the power seat switch terminals is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as specified, replace the front seat. (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
