HOOD LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Detach the tabs of the hood latch protector from the hood latch.

3.  Detach the hooks from the shroud panel and remove the hood latch protector.

4.  Disconnect the connector.

5.  Disconnect the hood release cable from the hood latch.

6.  Remove the bolts.

7.  Remove the hood latch.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

9.  Adjust the hood. (See HOOD ADJUSTMENT.)
