Removal Procedure

1.  Remove the floor side panel No.1 and floor side panel No.2. (See FLOOR SIDE PANEL REMOVAL [PANEL REPLACEMENT].)

2.  Rough cut the location in area A shown in the figure.

Caution

•  Be careful not to damage crossmember No. 5 when rough cutting part A shown in the figure. Otherwise, the vehicle strength may become diminished.

3.  Drill the spot welds in the 3 locations in area B shown in the figure.

4.  Remove a part (shaded area) of the rear floor pan.

5.  Drill the spot welds in the 5 locations in area C shown in the figure.

6.  Drill the spot welds in the 6 locations in area D shown in the figure from the rear wheel housing.

7.  Remove the rear side frame.
