STEERING SHIFT SWITCH INSPECTION

1. Remove the battery cover.

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Disconnect the audio control switch connector. (See AUDIO CONTROL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4. Measure resistance between the terminals F and C.

•  Replace the audio control switch.

LH up-switch on

•  If not within the specification, replace the audio control switch.

•  If there is no continuity, replace the up switch.
(See AUDIO CONTROL SWITCH INSPECTION.)

RH up-switch on

LH down-switch on

452.0—470.3

•  Replace the audio control switch.
(See AUDIO CONTROL SWITCH INSPECTION.)

RH down-switch on
