MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR/INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR NO.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0]

Note

•  The IAT sensor No.2 is built into the MAP sensor. When replacing the IAT sensor No.2, replace the MAP sensor/IAT sensor No.2.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Wiper arm (See WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Cowl grille (See COWL GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Front suspension tower bar (Vehicles with front suspension tower bar) (See FRONT SUSPENSION TOWER BAR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Air box complete (See AIR BOX COMPLETE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect the MAP sensor/IAT sensor No.2 connector.

4.  Remove the screw.

5.  Remove the MAP sensor/IAT sensor No.2.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
