AIR BOX COMPLETE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

With Front Suspension Tower Bar

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the wiper arm and blade. (See WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect washer hose B from joint pipe A. (See WASHER HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the cowl grille. (See COWL GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Remove the front suspension tower bar. (See FRONT SUSPENSION TOWER BAR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

6.  Affix the protective tape to the position shown in the figure to prevent scratches and damage.

7.  Remove the nut and set the vacuum pipe aside in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.

8.  Remove the bolts.

9.  Remove the bolts.

10.  Remove the air box complete.

11.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Without Front Suspension Tower Bar

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the wiper arm and blade. (See WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect washer hose B from joint pipe A. (See WASHER HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the cowl grille. (See COWL GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Affix the protective tape to the position shown in the figure to prevent scratches and damage.

6.  Remove the nut and set the vacuum pipe aside in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.

7.  Remove the bolts.

9.  Remove the air box complete.

10.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
