1.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.  After vehicle identification is completed, select the following from the M-MDS initial screen.

(1)  “Data logger”

(2)  “Module”

(3)  “TCM”

3.  Select the “EOP” from the active command modes table.

4.  Verify that the operation sound of the electric AT oil pump is heard when simulation item “EOP” is performed.

•  If the operation sound cannot be heard, inspect the related wiring harness. If there is no malfunction in the related wiring harness, replace the electric AT oil pump driver control unit. (See ELECTRIC AT OIL PUMP DRIVER CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SJ6A-EL].)
