Purpose

• The air mix actuator moves the air mix damper in the A/C unit to adjust the temperature of the air blown from the air vent.

Function

Damper up/down movement function

• The damper up/down movement function moves the air mix damper up/down (HOT or COLD direction) by driving the air mix actuator motor.

Damper position detection function

• The damper position detection function fluctuates the potentiometer voltage which is linked to the air mix actuator motor drive.

Construction

• A potentiometer type air mix actuator has been adopted.

• The air mix actuator is located on the A/C unit.

• The operation range of the air mix actuator is as shown in the figure.
