BUCKLE SWITCH INSPECTION

1.  Switch the ignition off.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3.  Remove the seat. (See SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the buckle. (See BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Inspect for continuity between the buckle switch terminals using a tester.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the buckle. (See BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
