Note

•  If the trunk lid cannot be opened due to a discharged battery or malfunctions in the electrical system, open the trunk lid using the following procedure.

1.  Close the convertible top.

2.  Remove the wind blocker. (See WIND BLOCKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the fasteners in the positions shown in the figure.

4.  Partially open the side shelf (RH). (See SIDE SHELF REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Loosen the screws until they rotates freely.

6.  Pull the cap with screws to open the trunk lid.
