SIDE SHELF REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Convertible Top

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Seat (See SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Scuff plate (See SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Tire house trim (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Wind blocker (See WIND BLOCKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Close the convertible top.

4.  Remove the bolts then set the seat belt retractor aside.

5.  Remove the fasteners.

6.  Remove the side shelf.

7.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Retractable Hardtop

1.  Using the retractable hardtop switch, keep the rear roof open.

2.  Remove the wiring harness clip. (LH)

3.  Remove the fasteners.

4.  Remove the tab.

5.  Remove the fastener.

6.  Remove the joint and disconnect the retractable hardtop drain hose from the rear side trim.

7.  Push the stopper rubber through the side shelf while slightly lifting the side shelf up.

8.  Remove the side shelf and the rear side trim as a single unit.

9.  Remove the side shelf from the rear side trim. (See REAR SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

10.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
