TRUNK LID LATCH AND RELEASE ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Open the trunk lid.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3.  Remove the trunk end trim. (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Disconnect the connectors.

5.  Remove the bolts.

6.  Remove the trunk lid opener cable.

7.  Remove the trunk lid latch and release actuator. (See Trunk Lid Latch And Release Actuator Installation Note)

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

•  Refer to [TRUNK LID ADJUSTMENT] and adjust the trunk lid latch and release actuator so that the height difference and gap of the trunk lid is within the specification. (See TRUNK LID ADJUSTMENT.)
