PERFORM OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR CALIBRATION
•  Perform the calibration for the occupant classification sensor using the M-MDS. (See OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR CALIBRATION.)
•  Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [SAS CONTROL MODULE (AIR BAG SYSTEM)].)
•  Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [SAS CONTROL MODULE (AIR BAG SYSTEM)].)
•  Is the same DTC present?
Yes
Perform the occupant classification sensor calibration, then go to the next step. (See OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR CALIBRATION.)
No
Go to the next step.

PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC INSPECTION
•  Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [SAS CONTROL MODULE (AIR BAG SYSTEM)].)
•  Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [SAS CONTROL MODULE (AIR BAG SYSTEM)].)
•  Is the same DTC present?
Yes
Replace the occupant classification sensor. (See SEAT CUSHION TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
