TOP LOCK LIMIT SWITCH INSPECTION

1. Using the retractable hardtop switch, keep the front roof half-open.

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3. Remove the front roof link cover.(See FRONT ROOF LINK COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4. Remove the front headliner.(See FRONT HEADLINER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5. Remove the front top lock.(See TOP LOCK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

6. Verify that the continuity between the top lock limit switch terminals is as indicated in the table.

• If not as indicated in the table, replace the top lock limit switch. (See TOP LOCK LIMIT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
