WASHER MOTOR INSPECTION

1.  Turn the steering wheel to full right lock.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3.  Lift up the vehicle.

4.  Remove the front mudguard No.2. (See FRONT MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Disconnect the connector.

6.  Disconnect the washer hose from the washer motor.

7.  Apply battery voltage to washer motor terminal B, and connect terminal A to ground.

Warning
•  Water sprayed on the battery and ground could cause electrocution. When performing the washer motor inspection, prepare a container to collect washer fluid and be careful not to spray washer fluid.

8.  Verify that washer fluid sprays from the washer motor.

•  If washer fluid does not spray from the washer motor, replace the washer motor. (See WASHER MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
