HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (HO2S) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ZJ, ZY]

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the air cleaner cover. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ZJ, ZY].)

3.  Remove the HO2S using the SST.

4.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

HO2S tightening torque
29—54 N·m {3.0—5.5 kgf·m, 22—39 ft·lbf}
