Malfunction Location

•  Turn light (LH) circuit malfunction

Detection Condition

•  Open circuit or short to power supply in wiring harness between turn light (LH) and BCM

Possible Causes

•  Turn light malfunction
•  Front turn light (LH) connector or terminals malfunction
•  Open circuit in wiring harness between front turn light (LH) terminal G and body ground
•  Front side turn light (LH) connector or terminals malfunction
•  Open circuit in wiring harness between front side turn light (LH) terminal B and body ground
•  Rear turn light (LH) connector or terminals malfunction
•  Open circuit in wiring harness between rear turn light (LH) terminal F and body ground (3HB/5HB)
•  Open circuit in wiring harness between rear turn light (LH) terminal B and body ground (4SD)
•  BCM connector or terminals malfunction
•  Short to power supply in wiring harness between front turn light (LH) terminal C and BCM terminal 1L
•  Short to power supply in wiring harness between front side turn light (LH) terminal A and BCM terminal 1L
•  Short to power supply in wiring harness between rear turn light (LH) terminal A and BCM terminal 3L
•  Open circuit in wiring harness between front turn light (LH) terminal C and BCM terminal 1L
•  Open circuit in wiring harness between front side turn light (LH) terminal A and BCM terminal 1L
•  Open circuit in wiring harness between rear turn light (LH) terminal A and BCM terminal 3L
•  BCM malfunction

PERFORM DTC INSPECTION
•  Clear the DTCs using the M-MDS.
•  Turn the turn switch on.
•  Perform the BCM DTC inspection using the M-MDS.
•  Is the DTC B1D06:15 displayed?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.

PERFORM INSPECTION OF FRONT TURN LIGHT (LH), FRONT SIDE TURN LIGHT (LH), AND REAR TURN LIGHT (LH)
•  Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
•  Disconnect the negative battery cable.
•  Inspect the front turn light (LH), front side turn light (LH), rear turn light (LH).
•  Are the bulbs normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Replace the bulb, then go to the final step.

VERIFY FRONT TURN LIGHT (LH) CONNECTOR CONDITION
•  Disconnect the front turn light (LH) connector.
•  Inspect the connection condition and wiring harness.
•  Are the connector terminals normal without damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the connector, then go to the final step.

INSPECT WIRING HARNESS BETWEEN FRONT TURN LIGHT (LH) AND BODY GROUND FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
•  Front turn light (LH) connector is disconnected.
•  Inspect for continuity between front turn light (LH) terminal G (wiring harness-side) and body ground.
•  Is there continuity?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the related wiring harness, then go to the final step.

VERIFY FRONT SIDE TURN LIGHT (LH) CONNECTOR CONDITION
•  Disconnect the front side turn light (LH) connector.
•  Inspect the connection condition and wiring harness.
•  Are the connector terminals normal without damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the connector, then go to the final step.
6
VERIFY WIRING HARNESS BETWEEN FRONT SIDE TURN LIGHT (LH) AND BODY GROUND FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
•  Front turn light (LH) and front side turn light (LH) connectors are disconnected.
•  Inspect for continuity between front side turn light (LH) terminal B (wiring harness-side) and body ground.
•  Is there continuity?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the related wiring harness, then go to the final step.
7
VERIFY REAR TURN LIGHT (LH) CONNECTOR CONDITION
•  Disconnect the rear turn light (LH) connector.
•  Inspect the connection condition and wiring harness.
•  Are the connector terminals normal without damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the connector, then go to the final step.

INSPECT WIRING HARNESS BETWEEN REAR TURN LIGHT (LH) AND BODY GROUND FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
•  Front turn light (LH), front side turn light (LH), and rear turn light (LH) connectors are disconnected.
•  Inspect for continuity between the following terminals (wiring harness-side) and body ground:
―  Rear turn light (LH) terminal F (3HB/5HB)
―  Rear turn light (LH) terminal B (4SD)
•  Is there continuity?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the related wiring harness, then go to the final step.

VERIFY BCM CONNECTOR CONDITION
•  Disconnect the BCM connector.
•  Inspect the connection condition and wiring harness.
•  Are the connector terminals normal without damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the connector, then go to the final step.

INSPECT WIRING HARNESS BETWEEN FRONT TURN LIGHT (LH), FRONT SIDE TURN LIGHT (LH), REAR TURN LIGHT (LH) AND BCM FOR SHORT TO POWER SUPPLY
•  Front turn light (LH), front side turn light (LH), rear turn light (LH), and BCM connectors are disconnected.
•  Reconnect the negative battery cable.
•  Measure the voltage at the following terminals (wiring harness-side):
―  BCM terminal 1L
―  BCM terminal 3L
•  Is there any voltage?
Yes
Repair or replace the related wiring harness, then go to the final step.
No
Go to the next step.

INSPECT WIRING HARNESS BETWEEN FRONT TURN LIGHT (LH), FRONT SIDE TURN LIGHT (LH), REAR TURN LIGHT (LH) AND BCM FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
•  Front turn light (LH), front side turn light (LH), rear turn light (LH), and BCM connectors are disconnected.
•  Disconnect the negative battery cable.
•  Inspect for continuity between the following terminals (wiring harness-side):
―  Between front turn light (LH) terminal C and BCM terminal 1L
―  Between front side turn light (LH) terminal A and BCM terminal 1L
―  Between rear turn light (LH) terminal A and BCM terminal 3L
•  Is there continuity?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the related wiring harness, then go to the final step.

VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED
•  Reconnect all disconnected connectors.
•  Reconnect the negative battery cable.
•  Clear the DTCs using the M-MDS.
•  Turn the turn switch on.
•  Perform the BCM DTC inspection using the M-MDS.
•  Is the DTC B1D06:15 displayed?
Yes
Replace the BCM.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
