Purpose

• The air mix actuator opens/closes the air mix door in the A/C unit to adjust the temperature of the air blown from the air vent.

Function

Door open/close function

• The door open/close function opens/closes the air mix door in the HOT or COLD direction based on the motor drive of the air mix actuator.

Door position detection function

• The door position detection function fluctuates the potentiometer voltage value which is linked to the air mix actuator motor drive.

Construction

• A potentiometer-type air mix actuator has been adopted.

• The air mix actuator is located on the front passenger side of the A/C unit.

• The operation range of the air mix actuator is as indicated in the diagram.
