HEADLIGHT CLEANER MOTOR INSPECTION

Note
•  If the procedure is performed with washer fluid in the washer tank, the washer fluid may leak out. When performing the procedure, place a container under the washer tank to collect washer fluid, and perform the procedure.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL.) (See FRONT BUMPER INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect the connector.

Warning
•  Water sprayed on the battery and ground could cause electrocution. When performing the headlight cleaner motor inspection, prepare a container to collect washer fluid and be careful not to spray washer fluid.

4.  Apply battery positive voltage to headlight cleaner motor connector terminal A, and connect terminal B to ground.

5.  Verify that washer fluid sprays from the headlight cleaner motor.

•  If washer fluid does not spray from the headlight cleaner motor, inspect the washer fluid-level sensor. (See WASHER FLUID-LEVEL SENSOR INSPECTION.)
―  If the washer fluid-level sensor is normal, replace the headlight cleaner motor. (See HEADLIGHT CLEANER MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
